Marta Rofín took part in the course “Architecture and Health: Healthy municipal public buildings and infrastructure”, organised by the Provincial Council of Barcelona (DIBA). The course objective is to equip urban practitioners form local councils with the knowledge to include the health perspective in their work.
The course covered the following themes:
- Urban environment and health: urban planning and public space from a vision of health
- Health in public buildings (facilities and housing)
During three sessions, the course brought together a range of experts from leading organisations to explore these topics (ISGlobal, Green Building Council España, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid…). Healthy Cities delivered a session on how to go from theory to practice when it comes to healthy urban planning.
