Year: 2021

The initial online development of the health impact assessment tool Healthy Cities Generator took place in the context of the European URBACT Healthy Cities project.

Based on the knowledge acquired in the previous research projects on the relationship between urban environment and health, as well as findings from the review of existing assessment tools – Review and analysis of existing tools, criteria, and frameworks related to the incorporation of the health perspective in urban planning (DIBA) and Systematic review of existing tools and guidelines in the United Kingdom (OHID) – the first phase of the conceptualisation of the Healthy Cities Generator tool was carried out (developed as a Minimum Viable Product).
